About Us
Gemz Creative Arts Learning Centre started in 2010 by Dr Puva Arumuam with the belief that Creative and Performing Arts can impart sound life skills and learning principles to young children and help them enhance their learning interest.

Puva has a PhD in Theatre and Cultural Studies. She is a playwright and has written more than 10 plays that were staged in Asia and Australia for many theatre festivals.
Puva has both academic and creative arts industry knowledge and has vast experience in developing sound pedagogies based content that are pegged to the current Australian School curriculum.
Puva's pilot project with Gemz Creative Arts was to publish Children story books written by children. Within a short span of two years, she published the works of two young children and made it available commercially.
Today, Gemz Creative Arts functions as a Learning Centre providing regular arts and crafts classes in primary schools in Melbourne and has an increasing pool of young Gemz Learning Club members who attend our self-paced blended learning classes to supplement their studies at school.
